The attempts to stand and crawl......

In the last few days we have finally reached some major milestones! Gabby is getting brave and attempting to pull herself up to stand. She is also attempting to crawl. I say, it's about time. I would guess she it pretty sick or rolling and scooting backwards.

I know I take too many pictures at the same time but it is all too cute to miss out on. These are funny because Gab gets her one little leg caught and she gets really frustrated and just looks at me for help. I love it. She also does the splits!!! I think we've got a future gymnast!
I tried to capture her attempts to crawl and pull herself up. Enjoy!

Linds--Just seeing all those pictures of Gabby brings a smile to my face! I'm so glad to see an update; she is so cute! Wow, she has had a lot of milestones lately--check her out! I can't believe she says "mama" I have been trying for months to get Kaitlyn to say that and all she'll say is "dada" back to me! You know what's next after pulling herself up to everything...yep, she'll be walking soon! We will have our hands full with our crazy little girls!! It sure is fun though! That is great she has 2 more teeth, I still have a little gummer here, maybe sometime soon Kaitlyn will get a tooth or two! I can't believe Gabby sleeps that long--what is your secret? Kaitlyn loves food in general (notice her curvy thighs) so I am not much help there. I would try sweet potatoes or anything with banana in it. I use the Gerber 2nd jar foods right now. I am going to start with table food when she turns 9 months. Okay now that I have written a novel here, I will stop! One more thing though--how do you do your cute collages? They look great!

Hi Linds, thanks for the 'letter' haha. I have tried all the second foods. The used to eat them..,She just stopped so that is where I am confused. She used to love sweet potatoes. Hates bananas! Oh well, I guess I have a picky eater on my hands. I don't have a secret. I wish I did. She used to be the honry baby that never slept. I had to finally resort to tough love. After about 2 weeks she has been the perfect angel. She has woke up a few times but thats it. I already give her tons of table food since that is all she wants. I just stick to really heathy stuff and pretty bland for the most part. I think she just prefers textures rather than the runny stuff??
Collages- I downloaded picasa2 it is offered on blogger somewhere on google...Let me remember and I'll let you know.

Cute pictures... Don't you love picasa and the collages... We're having a rough time with the eating thing too. Sam seems to have lost his appetite for some reason. He used to eat anything we gave him... not anymore. All he will eat is yogurt and nurti grain bars. Sugar, sugar, sugar... ohwell. Glad you FINALLY updated!

Linds, you can NEVER take too many pictures! It is impossible. Plus, I am glad you take a lot because you can post them, and I can see them. She is so cute!!!!! I LOVE her! her pj's are totally cute too, but I would not expect anything less from her cute, and VERY stylish mom! Gab is totally going to walk before you know it, and then she is going to be in a cute purple and black dance outfit performing at the Jetette reviews! I WANNA LIVE IN ST. GEORGE TOO!!! Gabby needs friends! (not that she has none, but ya know) Maybe when you have number 2 I can have my number 1...novel idea, I know!

Hey Lindsey... I totally peek at your blog off of Abby and Emily's! So you probably don't know me.. you might, I'm sure we went to 6th grade together, haha. Anyway, I thought I would give some advice on what to feed Gabby, because it's so hard when they want real food and stop eating the baby food and bottles! When my little girl was about 10 months old, she refused to eat baby food anymore, and she stopped drinking tons of bottles too. Anyway, here is a list of stuff she loves to eat (and she only has her top 2 and bottom 2 teeth.. and the top 2 just came in about a month ago): ravioli, toast, steamed veggies (brocolli, carrots, coliflower, peas, corn, etc.), cheese, eggos, ham, turkey (I cut up sandwhich meat), etc. I hope that helps, and Gabby is adorable!!! I'm glad I'm not the only one who buys shoes like crazy for my little girl too, haha.

....geez, this is long for a first comment!

Linds--Hey, how is the weather today in St. George? It is beautiful here, in the 60's. I am going to take Kaitlyn on a walk as soon as she wakes up from her nap! I hope you are having a great day!

I so glad you remember me too! Sometimes I feel like a dork when I remember people from elementary school cause I think they probably don't remember me too! Hahaha. And yes, I always peek at random blogs... that's why I'm so glad to find out other people do it too! Hpw many teeth does Gabby have now?

Oh Lindsey, didn't you graduate from Dixie's El Ed program? Cause I totally did too!! I graduated in '05 from it. I bet Dr. Leigh was your favorite, huh ;) ... haha

Kristen, Okay, you totally just rang a bell in my head. I remember seeing your name all the time! Don't mention Dr LAME! I can't stand her! Who could? She wasn't that bad- just couldn't stand the woman! Ah, tangent!!! So how did you like teaching then? are you still doing it? I don't know if I will anytime soon or later for that matter. Just a back up plan :)
Gabby has 4 that are through the surface and one more cutting that is oh so close. I can see two others that are not swollen yet but I can just feel it in my bones (hehe) that this month will be a little rough...

Haha--I'm sorry I can't be more help to you. If I explained how I added my list of blogs--you'd think I was crazy. I'm sure someone can help you!

Linds, you are such a loser! I will call you tomorrow and put your dang friends up. Maybe I will just do it myself since I remember your dumb password. I tried to call you to help you, but you were busy changing diapers. Gabby is so dang cute. I love that she made an entry on your blog, and that she has a friend! She is off to a great start. Some of us only get about 1 or 2 friends in our whole life! haha!

Seriously. I couldn't stand Dr. Leigh! She knew tons, but really... no gum? How old are we?! I taught one year, had Kate towards the end, and finished the year. I'll be honest - I LOVED it! I totally miss it so bad, but I worked for an awesome school. Good pay, full time aide, parent volunteers, etc. I think when my kids all go to school I'll go back and get my masters degree to get my license current again, then I will start teaching again. Anyway, I saw that you graduated from El Ed on your myspace page, and then I remembered seeing your name too! Small world... :)
