I love it Linds. so are you guys still going to go up to Stone Cliff? It is so pretty up there, I love it! Congrats to Shaun about getting a spot in the parade...I know about all that stress all too well. My dad is glad to be done with that stuff! It is fun though...you are in for quite a ride...its busy! Maybe thats why I hate going to the parade so much...hummm. I love the stickers though. Did you get them from writing on the wall? Or somewhere else?
Wow, your house was beautiful! I guess it helps to have a husband who is in that line of work huh! I can't wait to see what your next house looks like--I'm sure it will be unbelievable! I love Gabby's bedding! You have great taste in decorating! BTW, your friend that is getting married is so pretty. I love her hair--maybe I should cut bangs like that! I am waiting for my BF Lyndsey to get married anytime now!
LOVE your house. You complain that's it's small, but HELLO! It's a house! My husband, TJ, is in BYU's construction management program, he promises me that someday he will build me a beautiful home! I'm being patient for now, so he better hurry!
Kristen- So TJ wants to build homes when he is done with school? Be prepared for a crazy life. We have lived in 3 houses and we never moved due to school or anything. You will most likely always be in a nice new home, just never for all that long. and the pay checks are just a few times a year. Yikes! Its fun though. Will you guys be moving back to St George when he is done?
Linds--do you have an idea of what your house will look like? I'm sure you can't wait to move into it--once it is built! I showed your house to Steve last night and he said he choose the wrong profession--haha!! I am happy with my home right now though--it's fits us perfectly!
Linds--Your house is beautiful! It is so homey. I love that feeling. I also love the style of your house. I just want to have my feet planted I hate moving! I am not a mover but I guess that's just too bad. Shaun promised me ten years in the next one as he hates moving as well.Em-- Yes, still stone Cliff. It is amazing up there. I can't get over the fact that there are no young kids there. I know there are a few but no babies anyway. I just won't fit in there. I hear it is very snooty up there. What do your parents think and Rick and Cheryl? Do they like all the people? The stress is a monster! In a perfect world....In the next 2 years Shaun will only do a couple customs a year and focus on his wood business. It is 10 times less stress and good money too. We are quite the dysfunctional fam at the moment. he dosen't really want me to have another baby until he gets past this really busy time. In the mean time I'm just hangin in there.
Lindsey holy crap! K, you do not live in a box! I can't get over how nice your kitchen is! Your husband must be doing pretty dang good!! We just found out we are moving to st. G for the summer! yeah! Well have you hangout!
Abby-I am sooo stoked you are moving here for the summer cuz I wanna start a weekly playdate where anyone can come! It would be so fun. I can't wait to meet little Sam!! Gab will have a major summer crush!Yeah, my kitchen was the bomb! I moved Ab, that is not mi casa anymore.
Lindsey, to be honest, my parents and Rick and Cheryl LOVE it up there, but they are in an entirely different situation than you. They dont have little kids anymore, they just love it for the view of their home town. They have really loved to ward too, and the few times I have been there, it seemed super nice. BUT...you have a baby, and are going to have little kids, so I would probably have similar feelings as you. If I were moving back to St. George and had the option to build up there, I wouldnt either. I would way rather move to places with more young families where I could meet a lot of younger people, and a ward that had a big primary as opposed to a place like Stone Cliff. Those are totally just my personal opinions though... but it is amazing up there. I think it just puts off that snooty attitude because there are lots of doctors up there, and the whole gate and the guard thing and blah blah blah....I dont know...My parents have liked it though.
Em- THat is exactly how I feel! It would be amazing if my kids were at least older. It sounds snotty of me to complain but that is why.. I would love to live in the springs or the Knolls! It is kids galore! We will just be a bother to everyone up there. oh hum! Whatever. I am excited still.
Yep, we aren't sure exactly which area of construction he's going to go into (residential, commercial, civil, etc.), but I think he's interested in doing residential! And we aren't sure where we will end up... depends on where he gets offered the most money! I totally thought that kitchen was your kitchen right now, I was going to PEE my pants! I'd die for a house that looked like that. It's gorgeous!
Hey Linds-How about I do a post of my lovely "house" to make you feel better about your much beloved shoebox...try living in a matchbox! I used to drive by your old house in Green Springs when I didn't know it was yours and talk about how much I loved it!
Bre- you are so funny, a matchbox! Haha. Common, what is wrong with your studio?I still drive by my house all the time. I loved it too.
