Good finds

I am so stoked about this dress I bought for Gabby's 2 year pictures.  I can't believe she'll be 2 in a month! I just look at her and smile from ear to ear! She makes my heart so full.  Anyway, the dress is here and it is Fabulous!
Second, I was getting a pedicure and seriously wrote down these sites because I want these things in the near future. I thought many of you would love them too.
I LOVED these! Personalized rings with your kids names on them. Or whatever you could imagine?
I also would love to order this for my home one day. It makes your last name so much cooler!

fun Weekend and other happenings

WIND BLOWN and ready for a nap

We had such a fun weekend. I took pictures of Gabby on the Rhino because she looked so stiff and cute!  We bundled her up and took her all along the trails around our house. And even to see the 'orses'  She askes me or Shaun to take her on the ri-ro at least 2 times a day and then refuses to be taken out of her seat.  What fun kids are!

We also went to some friends house for a bbq. It was great food and fun.  I had forgotten how much I like Ernesto's salsa....I practically ate a pint of it.  Oops.

I swore to myself that as soon as this first trimester tiredness and fatuige wears off I'm getting in great pregnancy shape. I can have a huge belly and maybe small other things? We'll see. I'm the laziest I've ever been in my whole life! I hate it.

Gabby is sick right now with the Earache/sore throat/cold junk! I HATE it.  She has been up all night long for the past 2 nights! Pregnant and tired mommy and child are rough for me at least. I just mostly hate to see her so miserable.  I'm so lucky to have Shaun. He is somehow so patient and capable with her during these times. He stayed up til 2:30 with her last night just holding her so I could try to sleep. He has so much energy. I envy that about anyone who does.

We went to the new clinic on Sunset today. Shout out! Have you ever loved the Dr's at an insta care? Not me. But today, the Dr. was awesome!! She was quick, really great with Gabby and the fact that there was no wait was amazing!  I strongly recommend this place!

A funny thing!

Well for those of you who happened to witness me being punched in the head by a pizza box on "accident" then you know I had something funny coming in return...Maybe? I mean, it couldn't have been bad Karma anyway!
So today, I got my car washed at Fab Freds, Gabby was calling out for 'fies' (french fries). So, I pull on into sonic, which is conveniently located right next to it.  I place my order and drive off.  I am rolling on out of the back exit (not onto bluff) and I see some 16ish boy or some THING in my side-view mirror approaching or something?  I slam on my breaks (naturally, didn't wanna hit him) and then SMAAAACCCCKKKKKKKK! My car stopped. He didn't, so his head rams into my mirror and I see skates in the air! It was freaking sad but he totally PoPpEd back up and was laughing hysterically! Can you even imagine how embarrassed you'd be? The poor kid was bringing me my debit card that I pulled away without taking! Good thing the servers at Sonic still car hop on skates!  I feel terrible even posting this but it was quite possibly the funniest thing ever (after I saw him laughing)
Can you just picture a guy skating toward you car doing you a favor and slaming into your mirror and going down from it?!  Terrible! I made the slam much more dramatic than it was. He didn't run into it hard at all, it just knocked him on down.  I was pretty much already stopped, he just sorta kept goin?!

I laughed out loud at the thought of this all though the day! Am I horrible? It was dang funny!

On a side note, I'm a little sick this time around. So for all of those who were haters when I was pregnant with gabby saying I LOVED being pregnant and I never felt the slightest bit sick.....This time my stomach is pretty much upset all day everyday. But, no complaints here. I don't mind, because its way minor. I'm not puking my guts out so I'm good with it.  I have to sterilize the kitchen every night after dinner because the smell of food in general right now (or the thought of eating most of it) makes my stomach worse.  If I hate the thought of most food why am I already packing on the lbs? Ugh!  Nothing sounds good to me, but whatever I end up eating stays in place, so this is great!

Oh, and I cut my hair off too!

I commented to Kass that I REALLY liked her hair! I guess I meant it.

So close to heaven

I am doing all these posts tonight on my old computer, where all my old pictures are. I started looking at all the pictures from when Gabby was so young! Where did the time go in such a hurry! She is so little here. I can barely remember it. I think the world of my father. He is my biggest hero and I love to see him and Gabby look at each other and smile! She loves him so much, and he loves her too. Moments like this make my heart melt. This was Easter last year. And since we were gone on our cruise this year I thought it was appropriate.

First Ice Cram Cone!

I've had these pictures for so long but I had been wanting to post them. Gabby was so funny when we went to get her an ice cream! She was getting it everywhere but her mouth! She didn't really like it which didn't surprise me at all since she dosent' like cold things like this usually. She kept smiling for me and saying "chee" then after about 10 min. with the cone she just dropped it on the floor and said, "o'oh mommy!"
What a ham! I love this little woman!!

Caribbean Cruise 08'

We definitly had a blast on our trip. It was such a much needed vacation for the two of us. The top collage is just from one night for dinner. It was formal night....We didn't rent a tux and I left my outdated dresses at home. We dressed pretty causal as did half the ship.
The top two pics are from Dragons Breath in Labadee Haiti. The guy who took it would say, 1, 2, 3, La-ba-deeeee! It was so funny. He just stood up there and took pictures all day for tourists. Begging for tips. We liked Haiti, it was RC's private island so there wasn't much poverty. It is really small, you can walk the whold island in an hour. The bottom left is in Jamacia right after our sweet dolphin excursion! We swam, got kisses and rode them. We both loved it!! It rained that day so we didn't hike to the falls after. I was bummed but we didn't have good shoes and it is an extreemly dangerous climb. You have to hold on to chains and all the hikers to get to the top. I would have really liked to see that. The right pic is in Cozemel Mexico. This was one of my favs. I don't know why possibly because of the amazing fish tacos we ate, along with all that guacomole and salsa!!! Yummy. It was also the only sunny day on the whole trip.
I should have taken more pictures really! This is seriously almost all we even took.

My fuchsia princess

Gabby has been cracking me up lately. Ever since we got home she is sooo full of her personality that I used to take for granted (on occasion).  She loves to pick out AND put on her own shoozz now. Unfortunately for me, she insists in the worst way on just what ones she'll wear. I have to hide her bucket of crocs most day so we wont pick out the piiiink or burple ones to wear.  She likes to take her diaper off and you can see. I tucked her dress in the back like my mom used to do for her when she could only crawl.  I didn't want her to rip it while she was being WILD!
I could never imagine the day she was born that I would only grow to love her more and more with each passing day.  It sounds so cliche but it is so true. Everyone needs a daughter!
